Dawn
Dawn Miller offers a grounded, compassionate space for individuals and couples moving through life’s most meaningful—and sometimes most challenging—turns. Whether you’re adjusting to parenthood, reshaping family roles, or healing from spiritual or relational wounds, she walks alongside you with warmth, presence, and deep respect for your story.
Rooted in her passion for strengthening marriages and families, Dawn integrates mental health and soul care so mind, body, and spirit can move toward wholeness. Her work is trauma-informed and holistic, drawing on DBT, CBT, EFT, and the Gottman Method. With a background in trauma-informed yoga, she supports clients in exploring the deep connection between mind, body, and soul as part of the healing process.
Raised on a southwest Iowa farm, Dawn learned resilience early. After earning her B.A. in Psychology and English from Cornell College, she moved to northern Colorado, where she and her husband raised four children and homeschooled for 16 years. She later earned her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Northern Colorado. Outside the therapy room you’ll find her hiking and running trails, teaching yoga, writing, or spending quiet time in reflection and study.
"Shaming ourselves into change is never the answer… Instead of shaming ourselves into change, can we love ourselves into evolution?" - Erica Diamond
