Kristen is passionate about counseling and works with a diverse range of clients, offering person-centered support through a variety of therapeutic techniques. These include mindfulness, self-compassion, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, and somatic approaches. She is dedicated to creating a warm, inviting, and judgment-free space for her clients, helping them navigate challenges with empathy and understanding.

Kristen is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC). With two years of experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health disorders, she is also a Certified Addiction Technician. Kristen holds a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Nutrition minor from the University of Northern Colorado. Her professional background also includes a cosmetology license, with two decades of experience as a cosmetologist, which has provided her with a unique perspective on personal care and well-being.

Outside of her professional life, Kristen is a devoted mother of five children, ranging from 9 to 21 years old, and enjoys spending time with them, her supportive husband, and their German Shepherd, Bandit. In her free time, Kristen loves cooking and baking, bike riding, and creating cherished memories with her family. With her warm, holistic approach to counseling, Kristen is committed to empowering her clients toward growth and healing.
