Katie

Katie is an empathic counselor who believes that every individual is unique and has the capacity to fulfill their highest potential. By taking a client-centered approach, Katie facilitates an authentic relationship with her clients while empowering them toward personal growth and desired change. Katie's view of therapy is that it is important to take the client's lead whenever possible, while providing support, guidance and structure that allow the client to arrive at their own solutions.

Katie is a Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. She has a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Adams State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Colorado State University. Katie is trauma-informed and has experience in a wide variety of settings, including working with foster families and children with complex trauma.
